Fairy nuff....I had to re-tune in the box there recently - dunno why this happens, but if it's left off for a period of time, all the channels are "lost" and I have to go 'discover' them all over again...grrrrr - and all the kids channels were gone. Like (can I say it here ?) Dinsey (deliberate typo) and some of the other 24x7 cartoon channels...Has Nthell stopped broadcasting them ?

Can't list them off the top of me head. But Disney is gone. Some of the other cartoon channels are gone. Basically all (from what I can see) of the kids channels are gone.

try a manual scan on 291mhz for disney or if you like you could try a factory reset and then go through the set up again.

As Karl says do a factory reset,
you should get back the ones you lost!

Hmmmmm. Granted, I have the "manual" that came with the Box when I bought it. Now, I've used those steps on a couple of occasions and it has worked. The last time i did a rediscover, the brother gave me a quicker, 'secret' code that bypassed the lengthy steps in the manual....and it was after doing THAT, that I found the channels were missing. I'm wondering if using the secret code doesn't do a full scan ?

1570 gets you into the"secret menu" but has nothing to do with scanning,as i previously asked what box have you it will say it on the front of the box.

Morning - it's simply called "The Box", no version or model number or anything on the chassis or in the manual.
The other thing I noticed scanning thru the channels manually is that for some of them, mainly the kids channels, the scan didn't pick up the "name" of the channel e.g. Dinsey, or Dinsey+1....but it has a meaningless string of alphanumerics. Presumably I can rename these ?

the channels should all come up with the correct names. Not sure but the the alpanumeric channels are ones that change and on those there is no data of now and next.
