Starview 3 The Box Super Firmware

7.09 is supposed to stop the rebooting issue with the sv3`s.
Its for the newer boxes, although all the sv3 firmw@re is safe, the 7.09 will be more stable. (if its a new b0x).

 

yeah mines the new 1 mite give it a go but it rebooting doesnt bother me tht much i just thought vm was playing silly buggers lol!!!

i thought it was jsut our connection when its started doing it, but think it needs updatingwith new firmware so i MUST get roudn to doing it, but it doesnt happen that often and well you know you forget lol!

 

ok guys your gonna hate me (soooooooooowwy)but ive saidsomething similar on 2 other threads, but cant remember if any of you guys are on those threads. but my supr box keeps rebootin i was given a download GTRom_Superbox_8.00e.zip - ZIP archive, unpacked size 626,688 bytes from my suppliers dated 20-6-08 is that the newest. ive also checked my box ( thanks to info on other thread) and its running API 6.000 e_E boot ver 8.0 and dated 4-2-08
ao ia the info i have bene given correct - do i need to download that to my box. sorry but ive looked for updated one and they seme to be 7.09 ok so 8.00is higher but is it the one i need to stop it reebooting. tonightits doen it about 4 times in the last hr so seems to be gettingworse and about time i sorted it. i have 2 boxes but the other one does not do it so much.

anyways ive now updated my boxes and well cant do any more other than wait to see if they reboot - if they dont do it tonight then its worked lol

Sorry if this is a dubm question mate but how can i set the box on Fullscreen? I have an SV3 with 7.09 Beta and i onlsy seem to have the option for 4:3 and 16:9 in format.
The squashy picture is like an axel between my legs! Its drivin me nuts!

ok i got a question for you guys. needed to change the channel quick earlier to see someone we know on the TV but tried doing 104 and even 0104 on the remote for channel 4 but it dont seem to work - which means i had to go up/down until it reached 104 for channel 4 ( hope that makes sense) or click ok and then get the menus up for each section like popular movies all channels etc.
on my SP's remote i could press say 104 for that channel and it would change, so why dotn it on the SV3 remote???
IVe also got a eurovox max box - and it works ok press the numbers 240 and the channel you want come on
any ideas guys n gals

I just got a new Starveiw box 3. The box works perfectly although some of the channels keep coming up with "No Signal!" ive re-scanned a few times and still seems nothing is working.Any help ?

 

What firmware are you using? Who is your provider and roughly where you are located please.

 

Well im with NTL im in glasgow and i think the firmware is GTROm_8.00 ? or something along them lines.
