Starview 3 The Box Super - Flash Update fail...

WANTED- someone in LEICESTER to come round my house, and fix my box, all this download this and that chat, goes straight over my head, ill buy the right cables, and make sure you get to drink beers as you fix my box, ill pick you up if you want and ill pay you £20.

i have tried 3 different sv3 boxes and still stuck on 0%,also tried to in put codes manualy ,but box would nt update stuck on 0% there to ,these are new boxes ,if you do factory reset in dublin you wont get them working again ,there seems to me to be a problem with s/w because i turned on emu still stuck,also tried old sw 800e could nt load that either, running out of ideas

 

if it has the new u.k fix on them it may be your problem,try 7.09,also manually inputting c@des should work are you pressing save after each line?

 

Done all this until 0230 this morning no joy
started again now loaded 4.51 eE.api working, now loading 4.54 eE.api

just tried 705e and that wont load either , the problem must be with the box ,i have tried on3 different comps and still the same result'with 2 adapters '3 N/L cables i am not new to this so its very strange that one of these would nt work,

 

vickhead, have you downloaded the full service pack, and read the instruction with it, and if you are now at the stage - with the 4.51 on the box - follow instructions carefully making sure that you do check the APPROPRIATE box for each file, you should be fine. And you are in a Starview 3 The Box Super thread, you would be better sticking to a Starview 2 The Box thread.

 

anyone direct me to starview 1 box fix for current problem with lost channels, i only find forums that have been shut down

 

thanks for info going st2 after this, open up the box_logobg bin file but only to see 4,54 fireware+logo file\box logo file\the box_logobg.bin. is this right and should be downloaded in background date file?

Drag them all out (3) individually to your desktop, then you can easily pick them up in the bin box when pressing BIN BUTTON, 4.54 first App File Only box checked, then The LOGO file Channel Data File box checked, and then the 8.02 fix bin file App File Only checked again, take your time and think about it, and wait for the pop up box DOWNLOAD COMPLETE to appear, each time before removing or doing anything else, it seems a long time, but be patient.

Have connected correct cable from pc to box,
and have downloaded GTrom_super_8(1).02e loader,

try to download but keep saying failed , could anyone help me pls?? much appreciated.

 

sorry to be back I downloads 5.54 alright as a individuall file it's when I clicks on The box_logobg when it opens up in the bin file this is what I see.
4,54 fireware+logo file\box logo file\the box_logobg.bin I can not separate them.

Where you have the Folder saying on your desktop 4.54 FIRMWARE + LOGO FILE, double click that and separate them, drag and drop them on to your desktop, it's the only way. Can't really understand why you have not done that, then you can just get the LOGO FILE on it's own. Just done one out of curiosity and there was no problems at all. You must have them all on your desktop so that you can see them individually. That is the easiest way, but when you press BIN File button if they are still in a folder together in the OPEN box, then double click the folder and then HIGHLIGHT it and press open.

If you are still having trouble, leave the 4.54 on the box and I will seperate and give you a link with it on it's own, to down load to your desktop, try it that way. Let me know?

anyone who uploads new firmware for starview 3 and then finds they have lost setanta,racing etc I found these on channel numbers 61-62-63 etc.

Okay then here we go, I have put them up here individually for you, so when you DOWNLOAD them SAVE them to your desktop, I am including everyone you need, then I have to get off for a little while - so let me know how you go on, DON'T FORGET TO THE DESKTOP for ease of use.

Try it that way, you should be able to do it, do not forget to check the correct box's okay.

none available as of now,keep checking in,as its an old box now it will be last or may not have any update at all.
