Starview 3 The Box Super - Flash Update fail...

Thanks again Malci for your help, I sucessfully loaded my own secound sv2 box and my brother friend box, also my brother sv3 box but I am still unable to load my 1st sv2 box, it still only show the "ON" and a blank TV screen. Could it be because I loaded the first upgrade that was taking off the forum? The box only shows dashesh when loading and not increasing numbers.

If you want there is now an easier way to update the Starview 2 as of today and it is this The Box UK Fix Ver 4.55 051208 you will find it in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post, courtesy of scOuser, try both methods, the new easier way and if no joy then the box to box method.[/quote]

I try the box-to-box still the same problem. "ON" no Standby, blank screen, remote do not work. I will load the new fireware late and try to install it.
I have got to go and down load fireware to my sister and her two daughters boxes.

I can say it is a very good morning now because dear friend the new fireware done the trick, a very quick way of doing the sv2 I cannot thank you malci and the boys enough keep up the good work.

i have now changed the plug from the 2 prong to a uk plug,done a factory reset,scanned for channels,and the box is still rebooting every 5 or 6 seconds.

hey there i have flashed 'thebox' with the latest firmware. i have done a auto scan and it has scanned all the channels however it says data being updated then after 20% it goes to the channel however no pictures appear, then it says data updating again...any help....thanks

 

press "menu"

then 1570.

make sure you have the EMU "on"

exit...then go to sky sports.

 

Try a couple of different channels ...failing that turn box off for a minute and then see if it works!!

Good news, got there in the end with the help and thanks of/to our usual gurus, pulling us all through again.

 

anyone any ideas?my box keeps rebooting since i flashed with the new ufl.
