Starview 3 The Box Super - Flash Update fail...

db7 - had it right! I got you guy's from Google and now my life is complete great site!
I have a star view that has is still working but the pesky swine’s at virgin have just changed their software and i think my area now has an auto key change going on, we've lost viewing about once an hour all weekend thankfully the key being text to me within mins meant I could still watch the football.
It has never been this bad, my local ermm…(support) guy is trying to crack the new software but with no joy at present. From the threads above are you saying there is now an auto update feature? I have recently upgraded my box which auto scans and sort. channels to mirror the virgin set up but still have to put the key in every time there’s a scramble.

I am very grateful for the hard work put in to fw 8.02, but I have a problem if anyone can help?

I have to The Box Supers and 1 updated last night fine...the other keeps saying "flash update fail"...does anyone else have this problem?

Yes there is a new firmware for the Starview 3 Super that has fixed the problem, it is in Eamo's FTA library at the bottom of my post. You will find it in the box Super folder, then Firmware, then The Box super Fix came out yesterday.

 

just in for a quick one Malci... could it be a vista issue? as there have been numerous people having that problem over here??

 

hi, i have downloaded the new firmware for the super box but i also have a starview 2. does anyone know which is the newest for this box please. Cheers craig.

 

craig, there is no new firmware yet for sv2, sit tight , it should be avialable soon

 

Just wait awhile and have a little patience and all will be well, people are working their ***** off/doing a grand and fast job to get you sorted, just check here now and then to see where everything is up to okay. >>>

HI all forgive me for asking i have a s------- 2 is there a file out yet for auto updating i would be very greatful if someone would tell me if and when one comes out how to do it

yeah think the super update is now working just follow above link and downlaod it and flash it to you box, lads can anyone tell me where to get keys from if so can you plz pm me cause i wanna watch tonights match! thx

 

There is NO firmware out yet for the starview 2 in the uk

I have a sv2 box and after reading threads know that there is no fix at the moment, keep telling myself "just be patient". I know a fix will come but was just wondering about you guys with the SV super. Is it time to reinvest in a super box as this one will be the easiest to obtain new firmware.

no problems with vista updated mine today without any problems using vista with usb lead
