    have u tried changing in downloader the com port?
    i know u can get problems with a usb adaptor some laptops work some dont!

    It's model info. Just press download and see what happens. try all ports in case the program is mixed up.

    there are 3 starviews starview 1,starview 2 called the box,starview 3 called box super they all have their own firmware and putting wrong firmware in box could brick it .

    uno it tells you what 2 download and were to get it from. well i followed all the instructions on that so i dunno if i got the all in one firmware thing lol

    sorry 4 being such a pain in the ass haha

    in your gt rom does it say the box super 7.05e dated 10 april 2008?

    just making sure we have correct firmware,any of ur friends have a pc with a serial port onboard as ur laptop might not flash.
    pc with null modem cable should take only a few mins to download to box.

    hi all....I hve got a problem with my sky movie channels...horror, comedy,etc..picture is fine jus no audio...all my other channels even sky sports are workin absolutely fine...does any one kno why?...

    im stil having no luck.

    ive rebooted the box and re-downloaded all the software that it tells me i need.

    the 1570 or 1668 on the menu doesent seem to do anaything atall.

    when i go to download the files in the GTrom loader it either says that the STB model name is incorrect or that the file name does not correct?

    i have windows vista on my laptop i dont no weither that will make a difference or no?

    My box is The Box Super

    API Ver 7.08e
    Boot ver 8.0

    dont no if that can help with anything?

    hope you can help me out this time lol

    have you got gtrom super 7.05. open it and press download ignore channel dump and pick download at the bottom.

    ive got the GTrom loader 7.05e9.

    and i clicked download at the bottom and it just stays on o% does the box need 2 be on a certain channel or does it need 2 be on standby?

    yer i done all that but when i click on the bin file and find it it says that its not correct? and if i just click download it dont move from 0%.
