STARVIEW 3 THE BOX SUPER

ok and im trying to put on the box uk firmware found in The Box firmware folder lol what do you rekon i should put on there? ive got The Box Super Starview 3??

 

If it say's The Box Super on left hand side (Front of Box) then the firmware you should be using is GTRom_Super_705e.zip this is the latest for SV3. and you press download of course to flash your box, it is on the left hand side, and make sure App File Only is checked.

Go to Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post and click into The Box Super 3rd from bottom, then into All IN ONE FIRMWARE LOADER file, and get it from there.

 

i tried downloading it and it says flash failed? it says it everytime?

Well now you are getting a little ahead of yourself, you tried to download it so quick? - you said you did'nt know where it was just now.

 

Have you checked in the device manager what COM port the USB Adapter is assigned to ?

 

yer and thats why it wudent work before but now ive got it going through the correct com port, just need to no why everytime i try and download the firmware it says its failed? what firmware do u think i should update the box with??

 

my box is api 7.08e and i need 2 make it 7.08ee?? how do i do that or wwhat software or firmware do i need 2 download??

 

i cant seem to update my box but when i click on a channel with a $ onext to it down the bottom of the menu screen thingy it says [nagravision] what does this mean cuz its only on the channels i cant view??

 

Dan if you look back over page one and two of this thread you will find that since the 3rd of June you have been asking the same question, and many people have tried to help you, so if you look at the answers already given to you,it should be working for you!!!!

i have been given a firmware update (GTRom_Superbox_8.00e.zip - ZIP archive, unpacked size 626,688 bytes) from my suppliers back in June/july but not got round to uploading it to the box yet. before i do i would like to know if that as the updated one think it is dated 20-06-08

 

i have recently purchased the box super starview 3. i done the channel search and found 177 channels how ever i am missing three could anyboby help me.

 

Try a manual scan on 339.500 Mhz.
