Hello there, im currently thinking about buying a Starview 3 box.

I think im going to buy it off this website: http://www.wizardsatellite.co.uk/...=product_info&products_id=522 Is this website safe or not? im not to sure about buying online also do they sell geniune or cloned starviews?

Anyway to my point i have allready downloaded GTRom v4.00 and the firmware 7.09 ( yeah i know i like to prepare things in advance ) :D Anyway do i open the program GTRom v4.00 then choose the serial port ( i'll have to wait to get the box before i know what one ) then on the bit where it says bin file is that where i put the firmware 7.09 in? Also what file type should i have checked? App File Only, Channel data file or boot file only?

Also im going to have to used a splitter, will this one work: http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav...s=1218154544973&isSearch=true

So i will put the coaxial cable from my modem into the splitter then with 2 seperate cables put one into my starview and the other into the modem, will this work?

Sorry for so many questions i just want to be prepared haha :D

    whats your location
and you have the rom loader 4 which you dont need unless you have a starview 1 and the 7.09 you have is a all in one loader and firmware so thats ok

also what do you mean puttin cables into your modem???

    Im from Glasgow

Ok so i dont need the GTRom V4.00 so what is it i do with the firmware 7.09

And what i mean is, the coaxial cable going onto my internet modem, im going to take that out put it into the input bit on a splitter then i will use two seperate coaxial cables, one going back to the modem and the other going into the starview.

I have Virgin Media but the box is downstairs and the modem is in my room

Yes thats fine as long as the splitter is of good quality, (cant see as your link is broken) and all cabling is fine.

    Hi

This is my first posting and am not quite sure if this is the right forum.

Have a Eurovox V. Whilst most channels are there, it keeps missing out on movs24 & movs24+1 & Max(asian). Have tried everything ie: as,ps, ms etc. Still no luck.

    Can anyone help?
