    recieved my box today
cam with box lead 2pin plug
remote. pc to box update cable.

now i assume its done the following
way. if im wrong advise please...

    ok download update for box
unsure which 1. send update from
    pc to box..[which update please]
    starview 3 the box

also box has double scart right side
of box looking from front..real or clone?

2nd cables needed unsure this is my theory
please point out if im wrong....

    something resembling a t-junction box
cable from modem goes in one end
the 2 ends on the other side 1 cable comes
out going back to the modem other cable
    goes to box

final question..can u buy pre made leade
that go from the junction box 1 to the box
    1 to the modem..?

The answers to your questions re- updating will be found at this link, full how to flash and firmware links provided, when you say Starview 3 you do mean Starview Super I presume >>> read down carefully >>

With regards to the splitter, it is a simple matter of putting a connection from your Modem point of entry (Presume it is cable Coaxil) to the splitter IN and then reconnect your modem to one of the OUT/s and the other to your box. Yes you can buy ready made leads, but you will be limited to length, and a bit pricet, it is better to buy Digi Coaxil cable and plugs and make your own.

Correct, it is a cable splitter you have shown above >>

If you have a box on the wall were the Modem feed enters your premises, then YES and use the other 2 as you have decribed,

That is fine, as long as you have a Cable modem connection, which it appears you have from your description. What is your location and supplier?

You have installed the latest firmware, YES, the $ sign signifies an encrypted channel that is all, so if you have definately installed firmware, Menu, System Information OK and post what it says.
If the above is done, then Menu 1570, scroll down to Set Default Key press OK and exit out to Sky Sports 1 and it should update for you.
