chorai it's impossible for them to see, it's a one way system. No talk back on the boxes to the cc.

Total agreement Mooley, For sure its one way, its that somethings not right, its got to be the fix, hoping to get more reports of this disturbance to see if it covers other areas, like anyone out there got the starview 4 usb around the Ireland can report similar.

This is only happening on cloned Starview 4 USB receivers. The V1.10 software is not clone friendly.

Where did you buy the box from?

Look through the grills on the top chassis cover. if you see a silver heat sink on top of the processor, then you have a clone.

This is the most obvious way of telling a Starview 4 clone. The processors that the clones use have not passed the quality control, i.e. The processors yield temperature exceeds the recommended value. Therefore a heat sink is used to keep the temperature down.

get on to the supplier, and get them to get it repaired, as im sure the box is under warranty.

If the box is dead it wont matter, weather or not there is software on it or not, as the box will be dead, so i would not worry about that part of it, who is to say the box was not running FTA software. ??

jeez got stung with one of these as well...

Working fine after putting new firmware on it and then next day "invalid box" froze, powered off, then no power again...

Heat sink is fitted to this SV4 so obviously a clone....

Must be killer software from SV......

is Jtagging working or any other fix.....

maybe we can get clone safe soft soon???
