Starview 4 USB Recording

Turn the b0x off at the back for a min, then turn back on.

 

hi there not sure if this is the right place to post a friend of mine has asked me to put firmware on his starview 4 .i just want to no is all i need is the firmware in eamos library the box super usb_v1.05 bin ,iv got that on my usb stick now,and to put the firmware on the box do i need to have it connected to the tv any help would be appreciated thanks in advance forgot to say im on ch**us cable in limerick

what format does the super usb play off your HDD? will it play mpeg-2? if you put them on your hdd from the pc? ive tried finding this out before and had no luck :s

S*Y indie worked for me, a matter of finding the channel with the strongest signal, other people are reporting using s*y 2, discovery turbo, channel 4 etc.

 

i did an auto scan and the epg came back thanks noel sum `posted dat i can record to hdd from the epg by pressin the red button i did press it but it takes me to single channel is there a way to record from epg mate ????

 

press the red "record" button not the red red one. if that makes sense!

 

Press epg barts & press the red button on the remote & highlight the programme you want to record.

RE: the boxes in Ireland, s*y 2 should do the job mate.
