Don't really understand your query (Internal)!!, there is no where/way you can fit it into the box its self, if you mean (Encased) and free standing then yes. If you want to you can get yourself a large capacity memory stick and record to that!! just stick it into to USB port.

EDIT:- Like this here, 250 gig, EXTERNAL HDD, I thought you said you had a Starview 4 The Box USB!!

Could some please tell me what sort of ports/connections the SV4 has. I am thinking about buying one to hook up to my Projector. I can do this by either S-video or Yellow composite. Does it have both these connections and if so which would connection will give better picture quality? Thanks

It definitely has Scart and Composite connections, not sure about S-Video. Scart will give the best quality picture.

    hi all
im almost convinced to buy a starview 4 tomorrow and take back my samsung dvd-sh871m as it is very clumsy and slow. i got to match my tv but setting the records to the HD is not the easiest and the picture isnt the greatest.
but what i want to find out is that how many preset records can you do and can you set them to record at the same time every day/week to record the same program. i can only set 12 preset recordings on my samsung and when they are recorded it doesnt tell you waht you have recorded , just the time and date of when you set it.
    hope you can understand that!!!

if you are going to record just remember you have to watch what you record as its not a twin tuner

and my advice stay away from the pvr units as they are crap and have lots of problems

ive got a freeview tuner in my tv so i can watch another channel whilst recording but i understand i wont be able to watch one of the starview channels.
my main problems were in the earlier questions about recordings.

yes you can set it but it depends on the epg on the box

some have a good epg some dont some have a 7 day some at best have 3/4 days so thats what you have to consider

im not excatly sure mate to be honest but you know cable comes and goes if you record that much i would suggest you get either vir** + or SLY +

thats is what i would do rather than take a chance on a epg recording on any cable box
