STARVIEW 6 / 7 LAN UPDATING TUTORIAL

    nope and the SV6 is now finished, its the SV7 now, we will be up to SV10 by this time next year lol

    so ill have to buy sv7 to get it working now in dublin

    No won't work in Eire. Keep a watch on forums & you will know when there's a cable box working
    in Eire

    I would look in the starview 7 thread for the answer.Im sure you will find it on page 1.

    Download the Firmware to your Desktop, insert a USB pendrive and either drop/drag or send it to the pendrive (in short "put it on the USB pendrive") - you will find all the instructions and complete tutorial on the first page of this very thread, including where to get the Firmware.

    had it on for 2 days ha....it just says scramble

    You don't give much info. In IP-SETUP, are values filled in all,some,or no lines

    hi guys,wonder if anyone can help me ? i have 2 starview boxes one is a 6 and the other is a 7, i have put the relevant firmware on each box but it just wont connect to the internet, i have a starview 6 already workin in the house,but for love nor money i cannot seem to get these other 2 working, any ideas,wondering if i am doing something wrong or missin out something, any help would be much appreciated guys.also if anyone can send or post me a full tutorial would be appreciated . j

    hi can anyone tell me were i can find the tutorial for starview 6 7 set up or tell me wot to do next after i have auto scanned ?

    you were told its on page 1

    1. cable is connected AS IN TV CABLE

    2. lan (broadband) is connected from router to box

    3. you presed 8989 on accessory and made sure everything is on/autoupdate.ect..

    4. Menu - Option -networks - net application - Ustream

    5. menu - options - osd setup - region, england

    6. menu - options - network - ip setup, auto (ip address should be seen)

    leave on movies/sports for 10 min and see if any channels have cleared

    Yea I did see this but I last done it step by step on tutorial pics and had no problems, It wasn't happenin for me following them steps for some reason, all sorted now thank f ha thx guys

    just bought starview 7!! however 8989 does not work on accessory? :s on options when i go onto network it does not give me an option to select USTREAM!!
