Agreed, you have it quite right.
EDIT: Forgot to say it is also very very User friendly as well.

malci, do you have a kryptveiw? if so how do you compare them to the other box's on the market? as i am not getting much joy with this starview box at the mo.

been looking at getting one of these KRYPTVIEW A780 LAN are they the same set up as the starview 6 box where you net a lan port to the comp,

now that would be a tricky answer you will get 1 person say the sv is better in 1 way and the krypt is better in another
now ive always been a starview man myself but im getting an awfull headache looking at what is happening so far with them
now i can not compare them both myself as ive not had the new krypt
it realy depends on the indivudal aswell
if your not happy with the sv get a krypt keep the sv bang it in the bedroom or so
in my opinion i would not sell the sv as they are going for £100 at the moment

just compare the ammount of posts with sv problems compared to kv that should give you an idea. i bought the correct one for me as its working how it should be

Hi andym1, think I answered your question in previous post, to be honest I don't get into the comparison debates, but the debacle that you are encountering at the minute and the events in Ireland are enough to make you understandabley tear your hair out - to be honest I have had SV models and dropped them for the (then in my opinion superior EV models) but that was a different ball game, and it is down entirely to support. What I can definately say is that the KV A780 is more User Friendly and it is really a simple matter of "Firmware/Scan and then simply insert the LAN cable from box to to router" no in between fiddling. As hooter as said it is down to personal choice at the end of the day, but seeing as you asked, I rate the SV6 2/5 KVA780 5/5 as things stand at the minute but time will tell, but just now I can recommend the model to you.
