Starview 6 Futureproof ?

    there is supposed to be dongles for starview 5 soon and also another well known box is cooking something

    There will be no dongles available for any other boxes what you are speaking about is the 500 dongles for the first lot of Combo boxes starview 5 would not have the options on the board for doing it that way that im aware of

    sorry got it wrong its the combo that is getting a dongle for the first generation box that does not have a lan port but just to connect to router nothing to do with cardshare

    Nagra 3 has not been cracked and has not been in over 3 yrs rock solid at the present time

    When that was written i hadn't a clue what cs was :(
    sorry im a noob lol
    had a couple of the older boxes but im not very clued up on this new one!!
    Prob a really dumb ques but do all the sites selling sv6 come with the subscription or do I need to get it from a certain site??

    dont think they work in the UK yet, in some parts and Ireland, I can stand corrected on that

    Hi,

    Can anyone confirm how easy it is to connect to router not too
    great at networking?

    I assume this box needs to be connected at all times?

    Just plugs into your router, no Port forwarding needed.
    Connection must be constant also.

    seem to be pricey...

    i take it there no guarentee on how long these will last.. and sure if your internet goes down that means you'll ave no stations

    Pricey, maybe look at a full subscription, thats pricey. However would love to know who is supplying the server. Is the user not allowed to know who is supplying the service

    why would you want to know that.
    the only thing you need to know is it works.think most would want to keep the server details private.
