Man there is some well bad scaremongers here...... I got my SV6 last week and it does what is says on the box and plenty more ;-) I live in Santry Dublin and I can confirm it works a treat, much better than the last one faster and a nicer layout. Just the streaming to test now but if that works as good as the rest its a bargain even just as a media streamer from my PC. Cheers Starview lads! - be aware you will need a broadband connection nearby unless you have homeplugs it means dragging a cable up the stairs.

Need some servers to connect to on dreambox though. And you'd need to set it up yourself. Heard people trying to set it up at present but not heard any confirmed working.

200ish euros 17 a month I still think its a bargain and I have a media streamer at the end where can I go wrong?
How will the dreambox work if it doesn't go off?

They save a load of messy cables, I have the 3mb broadband and it doesn't affect the speed of my downloads and vise-versa it doesn't affect viewing when I'm downloading. oh and I found them cheaper here:

Check under network settings see if you have got an IP address from the router I had to take mine to the router turn it off and back on when attached direct and it got the IP and kicked into life.

i presume theres some server which is providing access for the new SV6, is there anyway your ip address can be traced by using one of the new boxes???
