For a person that sells them you dont know much about them do you ?? you would think you would know if they worked or not in that area and if you dont know you should.
There are no guarantees with any boxes everyone should know this you buy them you take a chance like everyone there are lots of probs with this system server goes down your internet goes down loss of service then you have the provider off line as well but who knows if ya get 2 or 3 months out of any box you are doing well especially with the provider prices total full package everything cost roughly €100.00 a month so do the maths
I see the starview 6 is down all ready not good for this box already look at the link below http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/starview_6_working-838937/2#5060007
lol, I don't think one guy having a problem with his router counts as STARVIEW 6 DOWN !! Working fine (at least for now!!)
hi ive lodt all my channels on the starview hd combo+ box im in the high wycombe area and software version is verF4.03, LDR:ver 00.21can anybody help thanks in advance
not been near this forum in near a year and i see somethings never change lol any way i was looking for info on these yoke so who of the members i know has one of them working in \dublin area an are they worth the plunge
I wonder is anyone silly enough to use NTL/UPC broadband for connecting these new boxes. NTL will easily be able to see their customers connecting to the starview cardsharing server IP address.
yes it would be a daft idea to use NTL broadband and the SV6 in the same home. wud be daft to think that upc do not monitor such pages and are not totally aware of what is going on. however if you use alternative broadband at least they cannot block your connection
