    you will NOT be able to use any other box apart from the Sv6 on their server so i would not bother trying there is safety feature built in to stop any other box trying to connect do you actually think they are that stupid to leave an open scource to connect what would be the point in them selling the box then if anyone could connect to their server.

    some people having a laugh now at this one. LOL

    That is only the local IP showing now, does not really matter.

    Can anyone help me out here im usein wirless internet just pickin it around me area for the past while now, Now i want get myself a sv6 before i buy one would i need a
    broadband router & can it b any model? Dose it have to be ntl router!!

    You can use a O2 or three dongle you just need to use a 3g router to convert it so it has an Ethernet port for example the EDIMAX W/L 11N B/B & 3G ROU 3G-6200N, which will also give you wireless access for your other computers

    Are you saying you can use the sv6 on o2 or 3 or any usb port internet service with this type of router ? If so how does this work ?

    I need get myself a dongle!! & a 3g router U say? To have access to the sv6 !! So the whole thing wil cost me above 200e :( .. Wow alot to pay for & tats not havin movies & sports channels !!

    no, you just need your own internet connection, whether thats from upc or eircom or Vodafone or sim, the option stated prev is for those who use a 3G dongle,

    You can pick up a cheap B/band connection for little money

    Eh it is for having movies and sports channels. but do your sums before you do decide and see if it would be cheaper to get it from Sky!!!

    whats the worst that can happen if upsee catch you using the sv6 through their bb service?

    it aint called piracy for nothing, what you think they will do, you will be removed from ever having TV or Bband services ever from them as a start and possible legal action, who knows

    Tks for the quick post, I think i stick with the 15 channels for now.. cuz im hdin away three mths on holiday hopefully wed i cumback N3 will be crack. /ha jokein
