Sorry Fintan I am heading to bed. Quick answer it is possible as you said but from a financial point of view given the subscriber base on that part of the network and the projected uptake I cannot see the benefits to the traders. I could go into the semantics of CS shares per and back up server etc etc but that wont happen given finances and costs clawed back over the servers timescale.

There are other reasons from a network viewpoint but that is if they eventually amalgamate it ;)

Good man Scouser, some thought you had crossed the line to the darkside.
    When you're in tight corner;
MAN THE PUMPS, ALL HANDS ON DECK.
There are few more able-seafarers than Scouser.
Am on bit of a tear at the moment, will post back when hormones stabilise.
Will have to deal with Mickah's supposition's then.
You're a good kid Mick, you put in long tireless shifts, but you need to talk to right
    people.
    Get box-key & RSA-key, mickey-monk DM-500clone (60 euro)
Pay full sub to U*C (85 euro)
SEPARATE wireless broadband; IRL-ON-LINE, 3, O2, VODAF, METEOR, etc.
Just make sure B/B prov. has no business tie-up with U*C.
    Enlist 50 users @ 5 euro/month
Be wise if 50 users did not use U*C broadband.
Full details available by PM on D/K, just read thru forum threads & you'll find it.
As sure as day follows night SV6 server will overload lines
When any major event comes on SV6 will freeze or crash.
On other forum look for DREAMBOX SG.STARHUB-image
Read posts last 3 weeks by chap with bristles has few peers(if any) re. linux.
Also chap with trowel,& scientist, both very helpful volunteers.
If one sets up server, have your affairs in order, because you are committing fraud,
& if caught you may do stretch in jail.
The bankers got away with mega-fraud, but JOE-SOAP, or FRED BLOGGS won't.
My affairs are in order, & maybe a test case would be no harm, EU law is very complex
By the time final appeal gets heard in strasbourg, I could be in heaven watching
    Inter-Gallactic TV FREE.

eh, take that as a NO. The IP address and port number of the SV server is known. NTL will simply look at their router logs and pull a report of all customers accessing that IP/port. Very easy for them to tell who is using the SV if you are using their broadband.
