Starview 6 Futureproof ?

yeah the lan cable to the box and yellow light on and then flashing green light. did a factory default after flashing and the usual Istream emu on etc...

 

im getting over 300 plus radio,you need to scan box without splitters ie your main cable coming into house is cable that you should connect to box,also when you go to a channel are you getting a message saying you are connected?

 

likewise

 

if everything was good with the file you had on before put it back on, as we are all missing some basic channels

 

300? you in dublin? i think ireland never got as many as uk..

im in edinburgh,ok the problem is getting the guinness SW to work,you need to keep trying the guinness file,are you connected to internet via a router? if so try connecting direct to modem.

at the bottom when you change channel it says not connected and then scramble pops up for me

 

disconnect ethernet cable from back off box then switch box off,wait 30 secs then connect ethernet cable and put box on,if you still not connected flash guinness file again then check network connections again

 

tried that and re flashed again with guinness file. same story. must be the server issue

 

when replying sometimes its easier to read when you reply by the end of the page instead of a loa of posts together!

 

maybe,when you go to network then ip set up, are all the details except bottom 1 filled in?

just tried direct via modem...still no joy...

in ip setup - on auto - all filled in except bottom one (user dns)

the 2nd dns...is 3.4.192.168 ?

 

dont mention it,mines is 255.0.0 but every box will be different,not sure how to help now,maybe you can call/email whoever sold you box.

cool,if i think of anything else i'll let you know

 

just back but have to head out again.the only thing i can suggest at this point is to take the box to another location and try it there to see if it works.dont think its a server issue,you should be picking up more channels than that.what you should do now is put the box away for the night and put the feet up.do what i suggested above tomorrow,things might be a little clearer then.will check back later
