i did the following with 6 boxes and all are still working.

menu then to utility then usb select grooverider then update SW,after box has rebooted scan box, make sure there are no splitters, after scan completes go back into menu then accessory and press 8989 and go into emulator and make sure auto update is on,exit til you get tv picture and go to sky sports 1,you will get scrambled channel,go back into menu etc and flash guinness file,go into menu then options then network then net application and choose istream, exit then go to ip set up select auto then apply, exit til you get tv picture and go to sky sports 1 again,it will still come up scrambled, what i did here was removed ethernet cable and switched box off for about 10 seconds,i then connected ethernet cable and flashed with guinness again, check network settings are as before then back to skysports 1 and all channels were on.

dont reload anything try a reboot of your router first then just check say once a day to see if the channels are back if ya dont watch them forget about them if you really want the rte ones split your cable and put it in the back of your tv and tune it in that way ya get both ;)

more often than not it is a server issue, but dont forget, you are still getting your chans via cable, so if your provider is having a prob, then this will effect the chans also, so check you service page with your provider

Hi everyone, can anyone answer or help with this question, I want to aquire either a SV6 or combo HD box i take it they both do the same thing when using the lan facility to your broadband and are similar to setup ? except perhaps different upload files ! am I correct in this ?

also as the combo is HD enabled am I able to split the cable and also tune in the free channels from V****N so as to have the free HD channels (ITV HD) etc and the best of both worlds ?

how do you select the source to view between the Hd and the network / broadband is this something on the remote or in a sub menu or am I talking crap !!

    thanks in advance

well i took your advice and went to the first page and all i could see was you being a total tool, instead of being which you could have said nothing or you could have helped cj002 out, but you chose to spout of some nonsense which you will defend by saying rules is rules, you are not a moderator on this forum so pls if you are going to post then do it in a manor which is less condescending

what an idiot you are people will learn nothing about how the boxes work what is needed what way stuff is needed to be loaded etc etc if they dont read.

So if you are so concerned why did you not spoonfeed him i dont see you doling out any information to help people.

There is a big search engin at the top of this page all you need to do is input some text and you will find out everything there is to know about every box

i dont see you dolling out any info either, there are 100s of posts on this thread and you asked someone to start at post 1,when you could have posted link to his answer or posted it here,we are all here to find answers and all you seem to do is find fault with way ppl post or dont follow protocol,i know there are rules to this forum but as i said earlier you are not a moderator on here
