Starview 6 Futureproof ?

    is that option meant to be there

    im not sure that might just be for the combo box so i suggest you follow the link i posted above

    no e45 im not that silly lol!i have tried eveything you have said and i have done everything that link says too so im going to give up for the night thanks for the help mate.

    wlash,happyout,mani,bano,{very strange}seems to be lots of problems suddenly?{clones???}or since uk went starview 6?..wlash did you try the box at the friends house?

    Lads where these boxes purchased in the Uk or in Ireland can you tell me its funny that so many of you are having problems with them please state where you purchased these boxes from might shed some light on the problem

    mine went like this last fri. did UK go SV6 then? havent had a chance to try it in a friends yet. will try later today hopefully. its very frustrating ya know yourself so trying to forget about it for a bit and enjoy the sunny weather!

    i got mine from bubblecableboxes and i know of another guy who got one from wizardsatellite and his is saying NOT CONNECTED too. not looking good.

    I bought my box from the uk too,My broadband provider is eircom

    Can you tell me when you go into the system information and see what it says about the firmware that is installed on your box ?? and post here

    i know that the boxes dont work if you have irish b.band (ripwave) or similar
    something to do with the wireless signal

    ive been out to a house today with my box which works perfect
    tried to install it but it kept saying not connected on the box no matter what i tried, even tried putting the ip address in manualy and still nothing :(
    brought the box home works perfect :)
    even tried to ring the chap i get me box off and he's had the same problem a couple of times

    also with the 3g dongles it depends on the area you are in, it may work for you and your friend around the corner it may not

    been reading hooters post above,it would be interesting if {wlash,happyout,mani,bano}were to try ther boxes at a friends house?maybe some light will be thrown on the subject{this needs to be done}

    i see on another thread rump 50 is having a problem with his starview 6{not connected}here we go again???????
