Hi, tahnks hooter only just got your message, but mine still not connected any ideas? i was woundering if i have the right software carling? any help would be great cheers

 

try it with the guinness

CHECK LIST
1. cable is connected

2. lan (broadband) is connected

3. you presed 8989 on accessory and made sure everything is on/autoupdate.ect..

4. Menu - Option -networks - net application - Ustream

5. menu - options - osd setup - region, england

6. menu - options - network - ip setup, auto (ip address should be seen) <<<click apply

leave on movies/sports for 10 min and see if any channels have cleared

EDIT your area is 100% gone to nag.3 in uk

do you have the guinness file on the box, did you do a factory reset after you put file on box, and last did you do check list as in last post above yours

 

Hi,yes done reset guinness file on there plus carelin file still no joy

you only need the guinness file on your box so if you put the guinness file on first and you put the carling on top YOU dont have the correct one on.

PUT the Guinness file on the BOX ONLY if you are in the uk it should work IF you are in IRELAND NO it wont WORK

 

yes server is up you should only have 1 file on box "guinness"
also does it ay connected or not connected
and when you check ip address as in no.6 in check list. can you see it or just a load of 0000000

All ip numbers comes up,iv factory reset and put carling and factory reset again and put on guinness, both files and factory reset both times and still no joy, all channels are there but just not connecting so i can veiw only fta channels at the moment.

 

it happened to 1 other who had to wait 2 hours for internet to work on his box every time he turned it off,
did you try with new firmware?

any one else who could not connect box, it was down to no ip address coming on the box from router, but you are getting it!

 

thanks, i have tried everything now and i am going to leave it for a few more hours if still no joy then i think i have no other option to flog it on, it has been going on since last friday and just about had enough but thankyou for all your help in the last week or two cheers
