last 3 weeks the starview6 has been working brilliantly...for those that are still having a prob...update firmware to carling 1.10.....
lets go on how the boxes are operating now,presently...all boxes have their gremlins..some more than others...but problems with sv6's have been resolved..the rest is upto you....if you buy a sv6 and it doesnt live upto your expectations, just install the previous firmware and return it,stating power prob...distributors aplenty...as for the kryptview..its all underground...the buying and selling....correct me if im wrong.

    Hi all
my box working just fine with the guiness patch couldnt get the carling patch working.
also working well on my sat system as well, so well pleased with it.
was easy to do as well.
saying that on the sat side i just loaded all my spiderbox sat channel settings so that saved alot of time lol.

    keep up the good work

    thanks all

so you have a combo box not a starview 6 one and yes the guinness file is the correct one to have on your box.

Similingly the spider box and the combo box are something similar in menus etc

try the latest carling file v1.10!
alsapo do you have your cable split for other tv's in the house?
what is your signal and quality levels?
make sure all cables are connected proper and in tight in box and tv!

Where's the best place to buy these boxes? I've just had a quick look on eBay and a lot of the sellers have only had about 5 previous transactions!

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw that link up there! Are they a reputable seller then? And since the Starview 6 SD ones work, does the HD work the same?

    Sorry for all the questions!
