johnfb - I'd politely request you stop keep responding to people about codes, as you well know now, those discussions are now forbidden. That includes advising people to send email addresses and PM's.

Hi bill, you are using NTell broadband, presume then you have a splitter from your broadband connection to the SVSuper, suggest you remove the splitter and go direct to SV and see if you get more joy as to your problem, also dependant on situ. ie. broadband upstairs and SV downstairs, distance apart etc. your signal strength may be to low, your setup should work via the broadband - probably stating the obvious but I am assuming it is cable broadband? where are you Ireland or UK - ideally you need the basic TV package to conduct a positive test.

There are no more posts allowed regarding codes for a variety of reasons, some legal some to prompt upgrading.
No PM, and no futher discussion.
Thats just the way it has to be from now on.
As you can see from the Mod's post to me I cannot help you further in this.Sorry

    Hi Malci,

    Thanks for your reply.

I am in UK Man****t*r. Yes, I am using cable modem. I tried both connectors of the Splitter; but SV is still not working... Unable to pick any channels... I tried even without splitter as well but of no success..

Yes, I am also thinking of same to try something like using a base package for trying the TV.

BTW: Do you think that i need to update code to rectify this issue? or any other suggestion..??

if you abide by the rules there is no problems you have all been on here a long time now and you knew this day was going to come where you where just going to have to update your boxes that date has no come

So would it not be easier to all concerned to update the boxes to the Autoroll software that is available and the help available to do it

And as you are all aware we had a good run on here with C***S been available all over the places even after people where asked not to post they continued to regardless even when we had a dedicated page for them

If i can remember there is one thread on here and 2 pages where taken up with people just posting C***S all over is and quoting them as well again and again in there posts
