StarView Box 3 - No channels found

could bud... why not try manually putting in codes and this will get you going till the next change any way
try this:

To put keys in manualy do as follows.

press menu
press 1570. this takes you into secret menu
Hit ok on nagravision
and change both keys 00, and key 01

Make sure your cable provider is listed at top NTL or TELEWEST C&W CHORUS ect you have to only input keys for your provider
To change between the 2 keys
highlight key number press right and left
When changed hit ok (To store) after each one..


(YOU MUST SAVE EACH KEY INDIVIDUALLY - I.E. AFTER CHANGING KEY 00 MAKE SURE
YOU STORE BEFORE CHANGING KEY 01 (TO STORE PRESS OK)after this make sure your emu is turned on then go to sly sports and should update

firstly my box is a super box starview 3 am with v media,and i have done what you are telling me to do when i press menu,the main menu comes on with installation,parents controll,channel edit ,user setup , factory setting,system information,and then when i press 1570 it just changed channel

im sick of saying it but have you tried this go into parental control go down to second pin put in 1668 it should bring you into that menu were key emu is if its off flick right to on then just exit this way is easier

 

Ok press Menu again move the cursor down one line to channel settings and then press 1570 and get back here

 

not got any channels now,, emu is on just scrammbled on screen

Go back press 1570 press default exit back to sly sports it should update

 

first check there isn't a cable problem in your area then check all your connections are secure ie coaxil into cable input on box and scart securley fixed in to tv scart on box, if you have the cable split take away the splitter and try the box from the main feed.

as much as its great having help..this chap is getting different advise from us both,so if mine doesnt work then you can jump in, we are both going in different directions and he has been trying to sort this now for hours , so hold back for now please

go back into that menu were you found key emu go down to set default key press ok exit back to blank screen see if it updates

i have tried both these methods again and still no joy in getting to emu.

 

ok done that just says updating 140% etc
