StarView Box 3 - No channels found

lol ...ok it says starview on the left hand side......what was confusing me is that on the tv screen it says the box .....anyway i have downloaded the crypter 1.4 .....now can i use gtrom 4.0 to downlad this?

 

yes go ahead you obviously have starview 1

 

Alright then it is Starview 1, go into Eamo's library at the bottom of my post and download CryptStar-v1.4-Genuine Only if it is a genuine box okay - You will find it in Starview Folder 7th down then into Firmware and it is 4th file down, or you can use the 3rd one down 1.4 Core400 bin and yes you use the GTRom 4.0 to load it on to your box.

ok ....right i have life back in the starview...now my problem is it is not picking any channels up in autoscan

panic over malci...started to get channels now...thanks a million ....

 

actually malci ....i checked system info and it seem my version has gone from api 4.0 back to 2.57.....any reason for this ...i wanted to up it not down it

 

Your welcome and good luck, did you have all the connections okay or what, and tell me what it says in System Information, Please then I know for sure that you are Okay.

 

Well again you have put the incorrect version on to your box, that version is for cone boxes, it will do no harm for it will work equally well on genuine or clones. You have not followed what guidance I gave you to the file.

ok here is my problem now...it is a winzar ?? so when i press bin file one gtrom there is no sign of it

 

Download winrar from the library or just download the 3rd file, CryptStar-v1.4-Core400 bin, if you don't want to install winrar, it is the same file.
