Starview Box- Dropping Channels

    guys anyone know how to identify type of starview box one has.
    i bought mine abouta year and half ago. just says starview on top left side. and digital receiver on top right side.
    it has boot ver 7.0,
    it's genuine foir sure, but i don't know if this is starview 1,2,3 or what?

    can anyone help?

    just a quick question have you updated the firmware with the lastest version v8.02?

    MY GOD! NOW I AM ON THE EDGE COS I HAVNT A CLUE WHAT THAT FIRMWARE THING IS OR WHERE TO BUY IT FROM? IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN JUST SEND MY BOX TOO SO A BOX DOCTOR CAN FIX IT COS IVE NOT GOT THE SKILLS TO UPDATE THIS BOX. ONCE AGAIN MANY THANKS FOR AVERTING POSSIBLE SUICIDE. KENNY

    Kenny, go to the link marked Eurovox and have a look at what you need it is the same procedure just a different box, then go to the link Starview 2nd line (all at bottom of post) and you will find a tutorial, and please turn your cap lock off we do not communicate that way.

    However we won't help with codes etc here, only firmware.
