starview box help

hi please can anybody help. my starview box just keeps updateing all the time but no channels only 1 2 3 4. it is on ex*&* i,m lost and a women . thanks for any help.

 

To put keys in manually do as follows.
press menu
press 1570. this takes you into secret menu
Hit ok on nagravision
and change both keys 0, and key 1

To change between the 2 keys
highlight key number press right and left
When keys changed hit ok (To store)

EX

00: 1F EE 87 F9 E3 FA 2A AB
01: EC 05 9C B0 3B 95 A2 A7

i,m totally lost were it says hit nav key. it comes up with ntl then provider id key number key data, were are the o and 1 key to change sorry im just lost

provider ID (use the vol button to go between the companys,

key number (oo or 01) user the vol button to change between the 2

key data (where you try the keys in with the remote)

provider ID [C&W]

key number (oo)
key data [1F EE 87 F9 E3 FA 2A AB}
press ok to save

then go backUP too
key number (01)
key data [EC 05 9C B0 3B 95 A2 A7]
press ok to save

then exit & start watching

just make sure you pick the right cable supplier

HI,

I's having the same problem as everyone else. Starveiw box not working. However when I enter 1570 nothing happens. It keeps asking for the password. If I enter my own password it goes into a totally differen menu. Any idea what I should do?

how often does this have to be done? i updated key last night,all ok, and by this afternoon it was back to endless updating, is there a software update to automate this or am i wishful thinking, version 2.57e_E on at present, new at this so forgive my ignorance, how do i know if the box i've got is a fake?

hiya, i m looking for new key data for ntl. i got starview box it was working but now its not working. so if you hae new one plz let me know thanx

 

You need the latest software to flash your box. If you don`t have it, let me know, i can send you as an attachment. To flash your starview box you need RS232 wire and serial port on your computer.
