Can anyone help! Been using starview box for a year now with no problems until a short while ago channels went off and now says no signal, i have tried putting the cable into the back of the tv also to check the feed is ok but nothing there either so that rules out a problem with the box, only thing i can think of is my live feed from the cable box has been finally switched off (i dont pay for any cable services by the way) anyone have any other ideas.

ok if yor sisters box is starview 2(the box) she should have v450 for Ireland or v451 for the uk you said you updated your own box so you should be familiar with the process you will find all you need in here look in "the box" firmware

So how did the connection get broken? Did you throw it across the room???

If you want I'll give you £25 for it to cover postage as it seems you're going to bin it!

Well that's what I meant that he found the source of his problem he is sorted in the sense that he now knows that he needs a new box.

I now that but as I have a wierd sense of humour I can just imagine him hold of the box smacking it on the top of a desk cos he can't get it going and then finding out he's bust the coax connector!
