Starview box problem plz need some help???

Ya same here...and we still having the problem,any ideas?some one had the same problem and he said change the frequency?

 

parts of north west dublin is still without any NThelL signal... checked with neighbours and also called NThelL . . it's a big problem they've been trying to fix for 2 days now ..

 

Try this:

1 Menu
2 Factory settings
3 type in code ( 0000)
4 press ok. this will delete channels.
5 Installation
6 Change provider (Eg n*L etc)to which ever one used in your area.
7 autoscan ( when it says *** channels found , exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen)
8 Hit menu again
9 go into parental control
10 press info on remote and type in 2004
11 new screen appears , change EMU to on

Exit out to view. You will have to re-sort your channels/favs but worth a try.

 

Thats the trouble with N** they just dont seem to look after their customers

 

It came up afer done autoscan and said no programs found!cant get in to parental control.Thanks

 

OK try this turn off your box from the back for a minute and then try the autoscan again. Make sure it says N** as your provider, (I assume thats who it is). Make sure key emu is on after autoscan, then exit out to channel screen.

 

Tried it there again because reliased didnt have ntl as provider,thanks!Found the channels this time!

hi me starview box has scrambled or bad channel i ve tryed the lists of things and it still won t work i ve autoscaned and i got 158 channels in but it stil wont work anybody no what 2 do

 

Do another autoscan and check your key emu is on after the scan. Press menu, type 1570 to access key emu.

 

im just after doing that and it came up 11 programs found me emu is on

 

OK do a manual scan starting at 290.000 and make sure your key emu is on after the scan.

 

i ve done that and i got 11 channels afew of dem ar working

 

Ok try , Menu > Installation > go to manual scan and turn Network Scan from disable to able and see if you get more

 

Turn the box off from the back for a minute and turn it back on.

Input these codes

Line 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49

Line 01 = 9E 40 85 78 E7 82 10 06

Then do another autoscan. The link at the bottom of my post marked Starview Info Dobbydoon will show you how to input codes manually. Click the link then click keys.
