starview box problem

    hi brought a starview box, got it working fine. Unfortuently my broadband won't work while this is connected, so i brought myself a digital two way splitter and coax. This has not solved the problem because nothing works now it is just showing no signal now. Helppppp have i wasted my money.

    I had exactly the same problem is your net connection off your set top box or a modem.

    If your using a splitter to split the signal between your set top box and starview box make sure you reset the top box after by disconnecting the power lead for 2 mins then when you re-connect look for the green light on the right hand side of you set top to stop flashing and become constant.
    If this does not stay constant and is still flashing your splitter is foobarred.
