starview box problem

hi,can anyone tell me if its possible to over ride pin code request on my starview box,left box with friend who activated a code but cant remember it ,cant do anythung with box at present,please help

 

the master code is 1668

 

thanks mate ,that worked fine ,but im still not getting many channels ther all scrambled or it comes up updating channel but tht doesnt help nay idea

 

you will need to change the codes in the nagravision menu. the new codes can be found in the starview threads on this forum

Hey there my box went off bout 5 days ago it jus says updating all time den no channels come on all i can get is 1,2,3,4,5 normal ones can anyone help me please pretty please? Thanks Ryan

 

press menu
press 1570. this takes you into secret menu
Hit ok on nagravision
and change both keys 0, and key 1

Make sure your cable provider is listed at top N** or t******t ect
To change between the 2 keys
highlight key number press right and left

When key changed hit ok (To store) after each one..
(YOU MUST SAVE EACH KEY INDIVIDUALLY - I.E. AFTER CHANGING KEY 00 MAKE SURE YOU STORE BEFORE CHANGING KEY 01 (TO STORE PRESS OK)

If done full factory reset/scan dont forget to turn on EMU

Now exit and all channels ok

On the starview remote:

Pause button = Letter A
Audio button(next to pause!) = B
Red(sub) button = C
Green(next to Red!) = D
Yellow = E
Blue = F

To enter numbers use the numbers on the remote 0-9.
To move left or right use the navigation buttons left and right.
To confirm press ok.

 

ok i try it i wonder if my star view box diff den urs? dont i need a new software to put on mate?

 

the boxes are all the same with the exception of the cloned starviews. the firmware is the difference. you can download the latest firmware and put it oon the starview.

 

how i do dat m8? den wudnt it say updating n stuff n all sports channels etc wud work ?

 

you need a null modem cable, the gtrom loader v4.00 program and the new firmware file.

 

wut u mean null modem n stuff ? so i need buy more stuff?

 

Its just one cable called a null modem cable. you can get one at any computer shop. the software can be download from the following link.

how much are they cant i jus make the channels work without doing all dat please?

You should go back to whoever sold you the box. they should fix it for you.

well you tried the codes and that didn't work so the only option is to download the new firmware.
