Starview Box Problems(fixed)***no email posting or banned***

Not to sure myself have made a few phone calls and the same thing has happened here will have to wait and fin out more info

 

I am not sure if the codes here are for Irish box so if i where you i would wait and see before you change it

Ferg in galway in ireland having the same probs as everybody else, hate annoying you but is there any update on the codes for ireland or is it just ntl gone, our's went down at around 3 o'cock today???

same problems in bradford and leeds - got my sorted did as fergusrb advised - now starview working fine - thanx fergusrb

 

Any sign of a key that works in ireland yet?

Yep mine + friends starview gone ! same prob " updating software"
Are N*L copping on or is it just the system's are down temporarily ?

Sorry away for a few min i am not sure what is happening regarding the N** has anybody disconnected the box and plugged the cable straight into the telly the way it was before we got the boxes it just might be an N** problem you can try a re scan and see what happens i dont know of any update at present for Ireland but i am sure there will be

I just tried the manual key input but this failed for me also, im now trying a factory reset. I live in an NTL area but when i search for channels i have to use TW, i assume because of this i have to input the telewest numbers into my emu setup?

 

Yes the telewest code is on page 12/13 have a look

 

Mikey the 2007 software is on page 6 have a look there

 

Just found this but am not sure if it is for Ireland if someone wants to try here it is

expect your Starview has gone down today. The CC is messing with the autoroll. If you are in an NTL then you can enter the keys manually to get it back on. Go to EMU menu (menu, 1570) highlight Nagravision press OK.
This is what you have to enter:
KEY 0 = D5 68 00 5A 29 36 51 D1
KEY 1 = E4 87 54 DF 4D 01 EC BA
Remember to store this by pressing ok. Exit out back to scrambled channel and happy viewing. Seems to be only NTL areas that I am aware of.

 

Yep tried the telewest code Ferg, but to no avail, ive just done a factory reset aswell but thats also failed. Looks like we are screwed! :-( Some people have manually updated and got thier boxes working again i wonder what we are doing wrong?
