Starview Box Problems(fixed)***no email posting or banned***

Perfect for me - kids will be thrilled - thanks again - what happened to Movies 9/10 - are they just renamed something else?

 

did all starview boxs go down yesterday? im in d south of ireland and my provider is ntl, can anyone give me any advise pls, thanks.

the fix that fergus rb has worked for me too type in all the codes exited and they all come back

 

Yea they are phantom channels because they have renamed them so just do a factory reset and rescan your box again and the new names will appear!

 

I tired the above for NTL ireland but I still cant get the box working, any ideas!

 

tried that but no luck,it still just says dada updating,goes as far as 460% and then back to 0%, any other suggestions

 

As I said - not very technical - I renamed the channels manually - I saw the factory reset - but wasnt sure what to do if I pressed it - I dont have any manuals so I didnt know what to do if I pressed it. Does the system automatically rescan itself

 

i got it finally!
spinners try doing factory reset

 

just did a factory reset, then did an auto scan and d emu is turned on but still no luck

 

Yea they will scan in if u do an auto-scan
then go in and turn your EMU to On

 

Heading home now - will try it then - thanks for ur help - pint owed!!

Hey Can I Get Help For Telewest [Virgin Media] Keys or somein..

Seems liek they went down 2 days ago and it dosent seem to get updated.. Can I get step by step instructions plz..

Go up to the top of the page and the third from the top is for the UK have a look

 

see forum mess 45 which shows clearly step by step for UK (choose appropriate cable providers codes), hopefully wlll work, it cettainly worked for me.

Ok heres what you need to do UK only, Go to EMU menu (press menu key on remote then type 1570 this brings up the hidden menu) highlight Navigation and press OK.
This is what you have to enter:

You need to select all of these codes

go to id provider and select NTL and put these codes in

00: D5 68 00 5A 29 36 51 D1
01: E4 87 54 Df 4D 01 EC BA

Press OK

then Select Telewest and put these codes in

00: 4A 56 C3 4E 55 FC CB 14
01: 0B 0D FC 37 7E BF FE 13

Press OK

Then select C&W and put these codes in

00: 1F EE 87 F9 E3 FA 2A AB
01: EC 05 9C B0 3B 95 A2 A7

and press ok

On the starview remote:

Pause button = Letter A
Audio button(next to pause!) = B
Red(sub) button = C
Green(next to Red!) = D
Yellow = E
Blue = F

To enter numbers use the numbers on the remote 0-9.
To move left or right use the navigation buttons left and right.
To confirm press ok.

 

nikeid u need to change all 3 sets of codes heres wot u do
menu
type 1507 gets u into secret menu
highlight navigation or nagravision then press ok
you need to change ntl tw and cwboth sets of codes

ntl= 00: d5 68 00 5a 29 36 51 d1
01: e4 87 54 df 4d 01 ec ba
then press ok and change to telewest

tw= 00:4a 56 c3 4e 55 fc cb 14
01:0b 0d fc 37 7e bf fe 13
then press ok and change to c&w

c&w= 00: 1f ee 87 f9 e3 fa 2a ab
01: ec 05 9c bo 3b 95 a2 a7
then press ok

after uve done all this exit back to bad channel and it should now be watchable.

this is the fix that worked for me
