Starview box shows Scrambled or Bad channel. HELP

sorry me again it wont let me view any movie channels is there anything special i need to do and it wont let me press the red button sorry for mythering again thanks from sarah

On a movie channel , what does it say on the screen ?

 

on some of the movie channels eg premier it says press red and enter pin but it wont let me press red and also i am now finding channels that say scrambled or bed eg filmflex there is about 30 still scrambled from sarah

 

What area are you in and Im not sure about filmflex, it might just be a problem with them channels "Off Air"

 

Just got some info for you Sarah ... they are not the right channels and the ones without pins are near the bottom of your channel list marked TV****, (sorry not sure of the exact numbers), another thing you cannot get Filmflex as VM do not provide this channel

Hi Guys,

Had a heavy night last night and the last thing i need to wake up to is scrambled/bad channels. Headwrecking Right?, especially after about 25 Pints of Bulmers. Is it frequency change again? Master Reset required?

 

theres no change today but try this

turn your box off for a min,turn it on and go to the main menu press 1570 and make sure EMU is ON

Thanks for the response mate. Just turned it off for a min and when back on the emu was on. Same thing happened last week and it was a frequency shift. Wouldn't do any harm if i done a factory restore and rescanned would it? Anyway just got take my girlfriend to the airport and i will look again when i get back. I need the music channels for party here tonight hahahaha while the cats away..........*wink*

 

yeah a factory reset and auto scan won't do any harm and remember to turn emu on after the auto scan.

Hey i done factory setting and autoscan and it found no channels. Any idea as to what this can be?

 

Panic over, i messed about with it and it is finding channels as i type this message. will let you know if they are unscrambled

 

Only Found 33 channels :S Any ideas?
