Starview box shows Scrambled or Bad channel. HELP

    Hey Celtic71, thanks for the time mate but i got it sorted, Factory settings, tuned off again for 2 mins(3rd time) and got all 140 channels now. Once again thanks for your time.

    Hello can any one help i live in bray co.wicklow my starview box keeps reading every 10/15 mins bad signal and scramble to thanks for any help T

    Turn the box off at the back for a min or 2 and turn it back on

    Thanks celtic i did still no luck i keep hearig the code might need changing but i have no clue how to or where to find it

    If u have a starview original then put on v4.00e
    for starview 'the box' put on v450
    get both of them at the eko.4 link under my post.
    ( make sure u havnt a clone receiver first)

    clone box has 18 cuts in top

    genuine box has 25 cuts in top

    1st generation box has 13 cuts in top

    hope this helps you to know which box you have

    mainman i have that up date on my box but when i turned it off and back on again it reboots and the bad signal and scrambling keeps coming back every 10/15 mins

    Ok go to menu then press 1570 negravision will be highlighted look in there and see what code is in the data code area if it is the same as we have you have the right one the code can be found under my post click the link that says code and check your agains them ok if they are right exit back out and look at the EMU and check it is switched on ok

    no need to reset, when u have the right codes just make sure that u store each line . make sure EMU in on and exit back to a pay channel and it will update itself ( prob to about 260%. but it varies) then u should be sorted !

    Could be a signal problem ? Do you have a cable splitter in the line before the starview ? Use the "sig" button on the remote, and monitor the signal strength for a few mins, if the signal drops too low, it'll cause bad or scrambled channel to come on your tele.
