starview box

all i have is green light on the front of the box,i believe it is version 4 that i have loaded

 

Ok at least you still have power before it dies I recommend you install 2.57_fixed for clones while its still working

i have tried to download on to starview box but the download is failing i still only have a single green light on at the front of the box,am i doing something wrong.

 

If you have downloaded version 4 onto a clone box you may have wiped the bootloader and as such need it jtagged to bring back to life.

If your display is showing LEDS on the front panel similar to this
----, you have just had a bad flash and will have to follow the bad flash guide.

 

i think i have loaded version 4 on to a cloan box,the led display flashes on then stays on,does this sound like the situation you describe.

 

Have you downloaded the 2.57_fixed file for clones ?

 

i have tried to download the fix file but everytime i try i am getting a download failure message.

 

You downloaded the 2.57_fixed from Eamos site yea ?

Have you put your box on standby when transfering the file in GT ROM Loader to your SV

 

downloaded from eamos site,but box does not respond to remote,as soon as you switch the box on green flashing leds appear then single green led stays on, the box will not allow me to download emos file as download fails.

 

Looks like a bad flash.

i presume u are using the right cable ! ie 'null modem cable' ?
