the 00 code changed one of the numbers by itself and i reset it and there all back now, but how did it change itself if i have version 4.0 on it with the auto update
Long story just happens sometimes due to the CC setting a different keyroll, after an upgrade in your area, I have seen this numerous times and it is always the same cause. Your box should be fine and it will still autoroll for you.
i was just on to a friend of mine and his isn't working even though the key codes haven't changed on his one, will a factory reset help ?
Get him to set the default key, (press menu, type 1570, set default key), let it auto update for a while, make sure his/her key emu is on.
In Galway too and most channels gone. N*L Codes are 00- A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49 O1- 9E 40 85 78 E7 82 10 06 Any help appreciated.
If you have autoroll firmware try pressing the default key as I have said above, nice name by the way
gscouser the end of the 00 key is 08 49, i also did a factory reset and ended up with more channels so try that
Sorry, I misread you I thought the key had just changed on your box. So they have actually implemented a keychange.
Don't have autoroll. Am using Api ver 2.55e-E Boot ver 7.00. This is probably verd old. Have downloaded Gt Rom Ver 4 and _450eE api but have no null cable yet. Will these update my version and give me the autoroll (I assume this is autoupdate feature. Excused the ignorance but am new to the game. Unlike the pool who will be Kings again this season. Please advise...
it seems that the 00 code has changed on certain boxes but not on them all, and the ones i've asked around here all have the updated versions so i don't think its n*l changing codes
Try changing your key 00 to this Codes are 00- A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 08 49, as dcman said. Do you know how to do this manually?
But yet your key line 00 has changed. Are all the other boxes working with the original key 00 code Codes are 00- A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49 ?
the ones with 09 49 are only picking up a handful of channels today but they were inputted the last time there was a code change as 08 49, the same codes as everyone else is using
Sorry I am getting a bit confused our main codes page has the N** codes as: Line 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49 Line 01 = 9E 40 85 78 E7 82 10 06 Are the Galway ones different as in: Line 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 08 49 Line 01 = 9E 40 85 78 E7 82 10 06
tried 08 49 and still wouldn't work. Just did a factory reset and scan and working now with 08 49.. strange one. thanks for help. Scouser can you answer autorool question from earlier
Strange alright as this seems to indicate to me both a key roll change and a frequency change. This has happened in some areas where they have upgraded/downgraded the signal. You need to flash your box with firmware for it to autoroll. before you do that you also need to see if you have a genuine or clone Starview. At the end of my post click the link marked Starview Info Dobby2oon. Then click clones this will tell you which type of box you have. Then let us know and we can tell you which firmware you require.
