my starview box just died anyone know why?

 

Have you got a clone and did you install any firmwa*e on it recently ?

 

i got a clone box, if i do a factory reset, will i lose current version thats stored on it, or is that saved, i dont have the cable for downloading new firmware onto the box. i have api 2.57e_E and autorilling, tried new coeds for galway region and not working, any adice

 

Have you tried the codes listed above

 

I did and no joy i am afraid. im gone into channel setup and deleted all channels and i am re installing them now, hopefully that might work with the codes above

Try turning the box off at the back and turn it on again

heh to the galway problem not the greatest way around, but go to menu 1570 nagravision

CHANNEL EDIT
PASSWORD 0000
DELETE ,( REDLIN THROUGH CHANNELS)
OK ( TO DELETE)
LEFT WITH RADIO , DELETE THESE ALSO,

BACK TO MAIN MENU AND REINSTALL like befre
REMEMBER EMU ON

And that what worked for me.( sorry about the caps)

 

just do menu-factory settings-password-delete and then reinstall

 

jlydo (Newbie) .. can you edit your post as the codes you have for 00 and 01 are the same

As suggested on other thread to do a factory setting

 

hi i live in tallaght in dublin and my box has just gone down, watched football on it this mornin and was fine now it's sayin scambled or bad channel, does the bad weather effect it if its run from a splitter as it seems ok from the main ariel!
