Starview box

nick29 press menu1570 then down to emu and turn on then exit back and all should be ok

 

hi guys,newbie here in n*l dublin zone. just got a starview box 2 original (25x7 vents) with api4.54 which i re-flashed to 4.5 after reading these pages. input the 1570 and turned emu on after aut scanning and getting 34 channels. but after updating (200%) i still only have 34 channels. Q. do i need to input more than the ntl codes cos i'm in dublin ? cos the default codes were the same as on the other codes post. any help will save a divorce!!

Hi newbie back again. Just to let you know that I received TheBox yesterday, having ordered it from ebay (www.skywonder.co.uk) on 30th Nov. It was pre-loaded with s/w installed last night absolutely no problems, 185 channels. Delighted, over the moon. On N*L in Dublin.

 

Sorry, typo there, it should be 135, anyway ,a moxy load of channels, all successfully unscrambled. Even had to delete some adult and playboy channels.

 

where can i get big mac software for starview as it needs the key id for london area plz help

hi there; have you tried to download the latest software for the Starview box I did on mine (clone) and works well and auto updates it self after a couple of seconds its in the download second going on there is a rumour that there are clones of both THR BOX and EUROVOX all from China so beware?

I'm new to this and need help.. Just bought a cloned Starview which was programmed for N*L already for me. I didnt realise it wouldnt work with Ch***s. Does anyone know if this can be reset or what I need to do to? I currently have Ch***s digital through cable. Help..!! Thanks

 

If its an SV1 you can get it to work on Ch**us cable by inputting each frequency manually and using symbol rate 6875. Where are you located and I will give you the info you need.

I'll apologise in advance, I don't understand symbol rate?? When I connect its says no signal and I just tried to put in the codes from another thread. I hope i havent messed it up.

 

Not a problem will have you up and running before the fight Are you sure you are on cable.

OK first put in the Ch**us codes:

Provider ID set to 5E01

KEY 00 = 4B 7C D5 86 E7 01 CC 96

KEY 01 = 8E 8E 46 FD 36 28 A3 F0


Then you need to go to installation,input each of the frequencies and symbol rate 6875 one by one and enable manual scan on each.

freq:444.000 ,426.750,410.750,394.750,378.750,370.750,322.000,314.000
306.000,298.000,290.000,282.000,274.000
6875 symbol rate : c***** north dublin

I know its a bit labourious having to do them one by one but it will be worth it

Hi, I tried getting into the menu again ( press 1570) and it wouldnt allow me.
I then went into installation and into manual scan and I'm now entering each frequency you gave me.... I hope I'm doing this right!

 

Yep just do each one as I said above and use all the info I gave you.Each frequency will give you a few channels so you will see it working from the first scan onwards.

 

Sc0user your an absolute genius!!!! thank you. It gave us about 30 channels. There is no movie channels, do you know if they are available?
Will these channels now be saved automatically?

 

No you should be getting around 140 channels as I said you must input each frequency one by one have you done that, then you will get all channels.
