There was 2 codes changes recently in the UK They are here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363 If that still dont work , turn off the b0x at the back for a min and turn back on and go to S*Y SPorts channel and see if it does the trick
You are fairly certain you have a clone, so you should flash it with the 2.57 FIXED firmware, this will autoroll keys when they change. You can get this on the eko site at the end of my post, in the starview -> firmware directory. If you are unsure about how to flash the firmware, go to the starview -> documentation directory, and download Starview_Guide.pdf . This is a complete guide to flashing and setup.
Yeah tried turning off the box at the back for a min but it but its only giving me 20 programs. The emu switch is on too.
Sorry for annoying you Celtic71 the remote has gone too but the batteries are fine. It wouldn't work last night either but it came back again this morning.
Just to double check your remote, if you have a mobile with camera mode, switch it to it, now point the remote at the camera lens, press and hold a button on the remote, you should see the infra-red led flashing on the camera screen. If you see the led flashing, do the next bit. Open up your box, there is a short cable going from the front display to the main board, this may be slightly loose. Unplug this cable, and plug it in again to make sure it is seated correctly. I know it sounds improbable, but this has worked for people in the past when their remotes stopped working.

If you are in Ireland you wont get those channels If you are in the UK , do a manual scan on CHANNEL 4+1 370.750 FIVE 427.000

Hi, Celtic Ive just followed the above and my flash bin file downloaded successfully but it wont self update. just keeps cycling through the percentages? % I set emu on but doesnt make a difference i know my box is a clone so did the above app. Scouser what do you mean when you say press the default key and let it auto role? Not sure i might have already done this. Thanks Again everything has been good untill now.
Sorry for the delay in repling Newly Did you update to 2.57_FIXED for clones ? If so Press Menu 1570 and go down and press "Set Default Key" Tune it into S*Y Sports and it should update faster
Hi, Celtic Thanks for your reply theres no need to apologise it surprises me at the speed that your actually respond. Ok i am up and running but i had already put the codes in manually so i am up and running. Does this mean, even though i flashed and put the codes in manually my box will continue to self update? or will i have to go through the flash process again? If i do can i clarify that i flash as usual, then run setup and then go to set default in secret menu. Go to sky sport1 or whatever let it update and im there. How long should i wait before i know that it has not worked or updated. Thank you again. Your Help is much appreciated.
If you flashed it then you wont need codes no more press Menu > System Information and check that it is installed Basically you might not even noticed if the codes change in the future lol
Hi, Celtic My system info reads as 257e_E 2006 aug It has changed but my flash has said it has been done successfully. Does this mean that i have dont it or should it change. I read another post saying that it doesnt alway change the system info. Thanks they should call you speedy lol. Cheers!
I Should have said the system info hasnt changed from the original app. But i have read that on other posts that it doent always change. It did say that it had flashed successfully. Does this mean it has worked or will i not know. Cheers!
ok the best thing to do now is go into nagravsion like you manually update the codes and change the digits in key 00 e.g. 12 34 56 78 etc And tune into S*Y SP and see if it auto updates for you
