Hi , Done as said and also changed keys, went to sky sports wanted to upload its not updating. Where do i go from here do i re-flash and if so do you have a specific link. I used the one you supplied on your post starview /firmware/ app 257 fixed.
Ok try this first Press Menu > Set Default Key See if it updated then If not then re-flash with the 2.57_FIXED and wait till the "Download Complete" pops up before disconnecting from PC
Hi Celtic Great news and a big thank you for your unrelenting support to this forum and its members. My flash went well and it self updated straight away. First mistake was i were using a different 257 app not the fixed 257 app. Second i had noticed that i had been putting the signal cable in to the input rather than the ANT port. Dont now how much of a difference this would have been but it works and i am really happy. Long live the forum
No problem , glad you got it sorted No more codes for you and now you can supply us with them lol The signal cable goes into "Cable Input"
Yeah Celtic i will do that how will i know when to check for updated codes? Or should i just check this thread from time to time!
You might not even noticed the codes changing , if you get the "Code is being updated" message , just use the default key and it should update for you, or turn the b0x off at the back for a min and turn back on
i hav put all the codes in, but when i try and change telewest there is no 00. it is only 01, and when i press left or right, it is still 01, but the codes change.
Click the link at the end of my post entitled SV EV Info then click keys there is a graphical guide on how to input keys there.

In scousers absence When you input the codes for 01 , press OK to store them , use the /\ arrow on the remote to bring it back up to Key Number and type in 00 , back down \/ and type the codes in Key Data and press OK to save , Exit , exit , exit

I want to buy a starview for my dad. They were £64 on ebay last week with free p&p but the price has gone up again. Anyone know where I'll get a new one for that price or lower? Or am I asking too much?
