starview box

Maybe I mislead there's no sound or vision. No movement on screen. 2 channels TV3 and RTE 2. Weird!

 

im not a real genius like the other guys so i can only tell you the simple things i know when i get a problem...you could try a factory reset and autoscan again making sure your emu key is off while scanning and switch it back on again when finished...or you could reset your default key switch to s#y sports and wait to see if ot autorolls and if not then input the relevant codes for your area...do you know how to do any of them?

I have a starview box. it doesn't look like a clone. it has 25 X 7 vents. I loaded crytpstar-v1.4-core400 onto it but it only picked up 34 stations. any suggestions

 

try scan again with emu off

 

Have you got the latest version installed if not , try this

Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK , then go into Nagravision and input the codes , press OK to save each key data and tune into S*Y Sports and it should update for you

 

Menu > Factory Setting
PIN 0000
OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on
English > Installation
Choose Provider etc
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Press Menu then 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

 

willij - which provider you with ? Auto scan on Ch*r*s in Co. Kildare gives about 38 channels. Manual scan on a few other frequencies that the autoscan seems to miss (except on Superbox) gives about 80 in total.

hello guys an girls can any one help me please as i ave purchased a starview 3 box, and been told that it is a fta receiver only and i need to down load the latest software,would you be kind enough to let me know what the software is and how i go about down loading please,i must state am a newbie so be gentle thanks.

hey willij...when you scan are you sure your emu is off?

 

Got sorted. I just did autoscan a couple of times and i have 138 stations now. Thanks for all your help.

 

Hi lads looking for some help. updated my starview last week, having no problems until ten mins ago screen just says scrambled or bad channel, seem to have full signal, ntl box still on, so dont think its them , any one any ideas

 

ntl dublin just went off..codes any1??

 

Just some more info, did a rescan picked up channels as usual, but still says scrambled, have one channell tv3, thats it. As i said earlier i have uploaded the new firmware alreadr crypt 1.4 gen so i shouldnt have to change codes. Can any one offer some assistance please. thanx
