All code changes are to be found here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363 - I do not think there has been any change since 18/12/07 UK, if you are experiencing problems re-update of key's then maybe it needs a KUTA.
hi thz for the codes but i need to ask ya guys one more thing what is KUTA and when i turn ma box on it says bad channel could any one tell ma why all this happening!!!!! thz again for ur support ;-)
Sorry adnan, don't take it personally. KUTA is my way of saying a Kick Up The Ar*e - by pressing the default key in nagravision menu - it lets you know that auto-updating of keys is working.
By the way you should check that you have the correct firnware on your box - V400Ee for genuine box - V257Ee (FIXED) for a clone box, both are fully working with auto-update.
hi can anyone help me please. i got the box cant seem to find the emu menu. i've tried going into menu and pressing 1570 but still cant find secret menu. someone please help... dublin
Try this and see if it works: press menu press 1570.or 1680 (this takes you into secret menu) Press OK on "nagravision" Make sure your cable provider is listed at top N*L or T***WEST C&W CHO**S ect Go down to "Key Number" and check its on 00 Go down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys Press OK to store Go back up "Key Number" and change to 01 using the > button on the remote control Go back down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys Press OK to store Press "Exit" , Check the bottom option and make sure "Key EMU" is On Press Ok again Then "Exit and "Exit" again back to the main tv screen
Sorry about that ..it looks like 1570 is the key you should use and not 1680 as i suggested, perhaps some of the lads are around and they could advice...
Is it starview 1 or starview 2 The Box, if it is sv1, then check what firmware you have on the box, it would seem that you have V2.58Ee and this will not let you in to secret menu, you will need to flash to a later firmware ie. V400Ee genuine box V257EE FIXED for clone (can't se it being a clone as anything over V260 would have killed it). Go to Main Menu and down to System Info and check.
For future reference the other method of gaining access to secret menu on both SV1 and SV2 The Box is as follows :- Menu - Press Parental Control - Press Info on remote and enter 2004 and Cas Menu will appear. scroll down and turn key emu ON.
Thanks for your assistance malci, as I didn,t want to give out the wrong information, MrDarcy, try this and let us know if it works!!!!!
the box when bought is freeview only no access to emu,u need to flash to 451eE for uk,450eE for irl,to access emu
