    thanks again I bet u r as p*****d off as im getting.It now says "error model name does not correct" !* is it not realising my starview box is there should I restart computer beginning to lose faith now in this firmware business

    Restart your PC then try run the GT ROM again

    I had a similar problem when flashing my eurovox , my pc would not pick up the null-modem cable but did pick up the serial port to usb so maybe this might help .

    Just tried flashing my clone box with 259 and all went fine with the upload but still have no channels on my box!!??

    Try rescanning your channels in again and see what happens

    no good still no channels.
    flashed using 590, did full scan 3 times but no channels at all...

    yes, all correct.
    I got annoyed and tapped in the new codes for today and it is now working but the flash update of the box did nothing...

    I think he/she means that they put in 01 first then 00
