Starview channels

Hi lads a belated thankyou for that master code it worked a treat, can anyone help me with a different problem, my stxrview 1 is stuck in the installation/language menu and i've tried all the codes/ info 2004 menu 1570, is there a way to get out of this or do i need to upgrade the software? thanks again for your help. Qaz23.

 

Try unscrewing the 3 screws at the back of the box and push the ribbon that comes from the lcd screen down firmly .

No sc0ucer i havn't doing me head in going to try flash it with 454 see if that will sort it(fergus's advice)

 

Did sound to me that the tsop was corrupt but try the reflash first.

can anyone help me, this is my first ever post on this site so excuse me if i sound thick! My st..view went down yesterday and i have checked on this site for any new codes but cant even see that anyone elses box has went down. I dont understand a word about 'flashing' the box, I have never done this. Usually when it goes down I just enter the codes from this site. Can anyone help me please??

 

go to menu 1570 and see if your emu is switched on

 

yeah it is switched on. Tried to reset all the channels and if found them all and saved them but they stll wont come on!

 

go back in to the secret menu and press the autodefault then exit to sky movies and see if it updates for you

 

Do you mean just click on the set default key? If so i just tried that and it said it was saving then I tried to exit to a sky movie channel but still nothing happened

 

ok you got to a sky movie channel check your scart lead is secure

 

Karl thanks for your help my daft hubby just admitted to changing the codes yesterday when mucking around with the remote! I entered the codes on this site from back in January and all my channels came back on. Thanks for your time, Erin

yesterday my starview went to updating information 120% and kept updating. still no channels except for the freebies, i am in derby,east midlands. any ideas please

updated codes on my Sv1 last night all good

codes went today so i entered the latest TW codes but they dont do anything, however they do work on my eurovox max v

im in Bristol so does anyone have a SV1 working on TW in bristol ?

just wondering if SV1 are not allowing manual input now or if it is just mw.

 

please help.i have a genuine starview box flashed to version 4.00e. all has been ok for months. 3 days ago all pay channels just kept updating with no channels able to view,done a factory reset and scan with no joy. i am on virgin in derby east midlands, any advice on what to do please
