There was an old thread about something called a Sagem DVB. I was wondering if it could be that?! http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/653021 Not that I have a clue really, just guessing!
hi scouser i went round to the good ladys house to see how her set up was, unfortunatly it didnt work there either, she said on sunday her telly and phone went off and hadnt watched the box from then, she gave me the user manual its just says its a digital satellite receiver. the thing is i was wondering could v m--- have put someit in to it to stop working,as they must have been doing something at weekend, because it aint worked from then, when i connect it it just stays on a green light and wont move no matter if i press remote, and switches itself of after a little while, i looked at manual and its says the green led light meansreceived commands from remote control, the red stanby led aint comeing on, the power supply is 12v 2amps and its led is green, i thought maybee tht was knacked, sorry about all this im trying to give you the best picture no punn intended lol, i was wondering is there a way tht a could flash it, cause it looks bricked to me, no signal on telly thanks dude for any info
It's not a starview as it has a card slot. lol same pc name as me (emachines). It looks more like a digivox or eurovox. would you have a picture of the remote?
As said it is either an FTA 101 or a Dreambox. All I can say with the predicament your are in is can you tell me if there is an Ethernet port on the back as your picture doesn't show the whole back of it. If it has an Ethernet port then its an old DM500C but you will need to use old firmware for this model.
hi scouser yes it has an ethernet on back, with all the info ive got now, and with ur help and others i agree its a dm500 clone, i will probably end up bricking it, if i can get the thing on now, thanks scouser the happy days jist went out the window lol
I dont have one myself but it certainly looks similar to the old Envision box. So Dreamup and old firmware may be the way to go.
