starview clone new fixed files

    im looking for a bit of advice i bought my starview box about a year and a half ago i was going to download the new fix but with all the fuss about clone boxes i checked mine first. certain parts make me think it could be a clone number of vents and the scarts on the left but i opened it up and inside it looks genuine also the remote looks genuine anyone help please thnx

    Hi All

    Can anyone confirm that when you update your Genuine starview 1 box the version information changes to the latest date and version as recently i updated mine and it appeared to be 100% complete but when i plugged it in to the tv and checked the version info it had the same setails as before (june 2007)

    Any help would be appreciated - Thanks

    Thanks to all for the codes. messing around with unreliable info is not a good idea. stick to what you know until a reliable source points you in the right direction.

    The same thing happened with my one, maybe they only changed 1 line of code.

    hiya everyone. Ive read through all the comments and replies over the last 2 weeks. But have a dilema not asked on here.

    i downloaded the v4.00 to my genuine starview box and then entered the codes and it worked upuntill yesterday. It just froze on me. Tried re-installing the new firmware software and it works up untill i get the bit to autointall channels and it freezes. Tried other software and with that it comes on for a minute and then goes off and then comes back on.

    What software do i need to install or is it ready for the skip. Can anyone help. Thanks

    no you only use one set 00 or 01 is top of the main code& the type
