hi all new to this any imfo would be gratefull . When i try to update the firmware for my cloned view box it doesnt store it .WHen i have downloaded it to the st box it restarts as described , but when you check the system imfo it still has the old firmware what am i doing wrong and does anybody have the codes for west lothian area for c/w . many thanks
thanks for that trayabit but its not the new firmware that everybody is talking about i aint taking any chances with that one .
the current version is 2.57e and boot version 7.o . i was trying to use the firmware STAR_VIEW_H20060816_257eE_api_FIXED.bin if thats any help to you . also when i use the codes i still dont get anything just data being uploaded this goes upto 150% then starts again . hope this helps dont make much sence to me .
the version u have is fine there is no firmwere to allow your clone to autoroll at the moment check your codes at this link maybe there is 1 wrong num or letter in your line http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/652196
put codes in and still nothing still goes back to updating i have tried putting codes in vise a versa I.E 01 first the 00 second but still nothing maybe i,m doing something wrong . This is doing my head in .
the only time it stops updating is when it has the right code as far as i no so anyone else any ideas
great got sv working now manually inputted all codes from all suppliers now it works fine . tryabit thx for your help keep you in mind if i have any more probs . my supplier of my clone sv said there will be a fix comming soon well so he says just have to wait and see what happens .
